Game - where is...?

Big group

Teacher takes out a pen and elicit the word. Asks everyone to close their eyes. Hide the pen somewhere in the classroom (e.g. inside a book). Tells everyone to open their eyes and asks them "Where is the pen?". Teacher asks each student to guess using the structure “Is it (under) the (chair)?”. When the pen is finally found teacher takes out some other object . Elicits “It´s a ...”. Again, asks the students to close their eyes as the teacher hides the object. Students try and guess its location by asking questions such as Is it (behind) the (box)?”.

To practice, teacher puts students in pairs and asks each pair to hide objects and ask where things are using the prepositions and structure learnt.
