Prepositions Game

Big group

Play "Preposition Easter Egg Hunt"
Before class, teacher hides around four eggs per student all around the classroom - in drawers, on shelves, under cushions ... anywhere one can think of . Teacher says to one student "Look in / on / under (the book)" (you can point). The student can go and look and then find the egg and put it in his/her basket. Teacher does it twice for each student so that everyone has collected two eggs. Finally, teacher says that there are two more eggs per student hidden in the classroom. Teacher lets everyone go off hunting (but they must stop after finding two eggs). As the students are hunting the teacher can help them out by giving more directions and using prepositions.

It would be great if the teacher could do this activity in the playground.
