Debate

Before starting the debate, as the teacher will encourage the use of comparison and conditionals, it would be advisable to quickly review them by means of some examples or webpages.

Still in groups, the students may debate which is the best country to visit if they want to:

• relax
• go shopping
• meet people
• try exotic food
• enjoy nice weather
• travel in December
• see animals
• ...

The debate should be done in steps. First they come to agreements in their small groups and then they will debate their ideas with the rest of the class. The moderator will be another student as well and he/she may write down the final decisions of the class.
