Pecha Kucha
Arrange the students in groups of 3-4 (even 5). They have to decide which country they'd like to visit. Share as a big group and assign a country to each group avoiding repetitions at the same time you encourage choosing countries from different continents so there is more variety.
Explain they are preparing a type of presentation called Pecha-Kucha. What is it? They have to show 20 slides related to the topic with 20 seconds for each one. Of course, they won't control the projection to ensure time limit is followed.

Once they finish, the students make the oral presentations. Make sure they take turns so they all speak.
Meanwhile, the rest of the class fill in an evaluation grid.
At the end they vote for the best Pecha Kucha.
Follow up: the teacher may print the slides and show them in a "passport folder" to be exposed in a WAL OF FAME in class.
