Use the following craft sheets:

• Basket Craft:
• Vegetable Craft: (lettuce, carrot and broccoli)

Teacher prints off enough craft sheets for each student. Students cut out the basket and vegetable pictures. Once everyone have his/her own cut-out, teacher asks all students to follow him/her as he/she colours in the vegetables and the basket – as the teacher is doing this chat with
the students, asking questions such as "What color is the lettuce?", "Do you like carrots?".

Teacher answers him/herself saying "Yes, I do/No, I don´t". Makes students to repeat the answers.

When everything has been colored in, everyone glue the baskets to construction paper and the students put in their vegetables as they say the names of the vegetables.

An alternative is to print off just one large basket and get everyone to put their coloured vegetables into the class basket.

Teacher can use other vegetables from the flashcards in previous activities.
