Presenting fruits

Teacher brings a set of small plastic fruit hidden in a small box. Suddenly, teacher shakes it and the rattling sound will instantly alert the students. Teacher opens the box, pulls out a fruit and ask “what’s this?” Teacher elicit the name and chorus three times. After that, teacher mimes biting the fruit and chewing, and then says “Yummy!”. Then holds the fruit in front of each student to let them take an imaginary bite. Teacher encourages them to say “yummy!” or even “yuk!”. Teacher repeats with the other fruit.
